Selectavet is a family owned company which is active on the veterinary market in Germany, located in Bavaria, 35 km away from Munich.
Product range
Selectavet deals with a wide range of products on the small animal and large animal sector. You can find a broad spectrum of pharmaceuticals for veterinary use like antibiotics, analgesics, anaesthetics, antiparasitics, hormones/corticoids, infusions and homoeopathics. Additionally, the company offers complementary feed, products for dermatological care and hygiene as well as suture materials and critical care instruments.
Company structure
The members of the board are Dr. Bettina Breu (pharmacist), the daughter of the founder, and her husband Dr. Walter Breu (pharmacist).
In 1966 Selectavet was founded by the veterinarian Dr. Dr. h.c. Otto Fischer †.
Today Selectavet employs about 40 persons. Eleven of whom are representatives, visiting the veterinarians within all regions of Germany and providing advisory support.
The aim of Selectavet is to give the veterinarians competent and scientific information about the products. Additionally Selectavet is visiting all important national veterinary congresses every year with a stand and organizes regional lectures on up-to-date topics for veterinarians.

Besides the structures, which are necessary for an effective and successful distribution of veterinary products, Selectavet has its own analytical laboratory for quality control and product development.
